When I started Vista by Lara, I kept seeing
the same quiet leak across UAE Shopify stores. Beautiful brands, strong
products, good traffic—yet conversions limping at 0.6%–1.2%. Founders blamed
“seasonality” or “ads,” but the truth was simpler and more fixable: critical
conversion steps weren’t ready for real shoppers.
I remember a perfume label in Dubai with
stunning packaging and loyal Instagram fans. Their PDP felt like an airport
billboard—gorgeous, but missing the tiny decisions that make a shopper feel
safe: shade names in plain language, clear shipping/returns for UAE, an obvious
payment trust row, and a size guide that looked like it belonged. We didn’t
redesign. We simply made the important obvious. Conversions rose 28% in 21
days.
Then came a café brand expanding to
delivery. Their menu pages were mood-board cute, but mobile thumb-flow was a
maze. Add-to-cart sat below the fold, “Reheat cards” weren’t explained, and
Apple Pay/Google Pay were invisible on first tap. We straightened the journey,
clarified freshness and delivery windows, surfaced payment options, and dropped
in a clean upsell. Same traffic, +31% orders.
After 250+ Shopify builds and countless
audits, patterns repeat. Great brands bleed from tiny cuts: the CTA that slides
one scroll too far; a trust badge that loads after the decision moment; FAQs
that answer what the founder cares about—not what the shopper fears; slow
images that steal 0.3s at the worst possible time; analytics that track
“pageviews” not “moments that matter.”
